Privacy policy

VUELO makes maintenance tracking software for aircraft operators and repair stations. We are responsible for the information described on this page. You can reach us at contact@vuelo.aero about anything here.

The demo request form asks for your name, email address and company, and optionally your phone number. It also asks about your operation so the demo is relevant: fleet size, aircraft make and model, how you currently track maintenance, your role, your operating rule, how you heard about us, and anything you want to see. Only name, email, company, fleet size and aircraft type are required — the rest you can leave blank.

We use this to contact you about your request and to prepare a demonstration relevant to your fleet. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising, and we do not send marketing email to people who have only asked for a demo.

Our web server keeps a standard access log, as essentially all web servers do. Each entry records the IP address of the request, the page requested, the time, the referring page if your browser sent one, and your browser's user-agent string. We use these records to understand roughly how many people visit and where they arrive from, and to investigate errors and abuse.

We do not attempt to identify individuals from these records, and we do not combine them with demo requests.

To be specific, because many sites say the opposite:

• No cookies. This site sets none at all, which is why you have not been asked to consent to any.
• No analytics services, no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, no session recording.
• No third-party scripts. Every asset on this site is served from our own server, including the fonts.
• No profiling and no automated decision-making.

Demo requests reach a VUELO mailbox and are read by the people here who follow up on enquiries. Beyond that, the only organisations involved are the ones that operate the infrastructure this site runs on:

• DigitalOcean, LLC — hosts the server that serves this site and holds the access log described above.
• The provider of our email service — carries and stores demo requests sent to us.

Our server and our email are operated in the United States. If you contact us from Latin America, Europe or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and stored there. We only collect business contact details and information about your fleet, and we keep the amount to a minimum.

We keep demo requests for as long as we are in contact with you about your enquiry, and for up to 24 months afterwards so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off. After that we delete them. If you ask us to delete a request sooner, we will.

Server access logs are rotated and deleted automatically after 14 days.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to our holding it at all, in which case we will delete it unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

Email contact@vuelo.aero and we will action it. We will not ask you to justify the request, and there is no charge. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

This site is served over HTTPS, so anything you send through the form is encrypted in transit. Access to demo requests is limited to the people at VUELO who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect small deliberately, which is the most effective protection available.

This site sells maintenance software to aviation businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If we change how we handle information — for example by adding an analytics tool or a customer-relationship system — we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
