L’Aeroteca or Librería Aeronáutica Miguel-Creus

I have written about Maison du Livre Aviation in Paris and how I like stopping in to check out all the aviation related materials there. In Barcelona, not far from Gaudi’s famous houses on Passeig de Gràcia (15 walking from Casa Milà/La Pedrera, 20 minutes from Casa Batlló) you will find L’Aeroteca.

L’Aeroteca is much bigger than Maison du Livre Aviation in Paris and it uses this space to provide a greater selection of things for aviation aficionados. Like Maison du Livre Aviation, it offers plenty of reference books on airplanes and military history. What L’Aeroteca does better than Maison du Livre Aviation is that it offers a greater amount of material for pilots: flight training and reference material (FAR/AIM or its Spanish equivalent, for example), headsets and even software for you SIM pilots. It also has a great selection of books in English, Spanish, Catalan and French.
